Aircraft hangars

Northwest Airlines, after one of their jets slide off a runway and damaged an engine, had an immediate need for a temporary hangar to repair the plane. The engine warranty required a shelter to do the work and Allsite delivered and installed this 160’ wide by 160’ long structure in two days, rented it to Northwest for one month and removed the structure thirty days later. It is important to note the airport would not allow Northwest to attach the structure to the runway, so this entire structure was erected using concrete ballasts.
